Private Sales Website — Explanation

D13X.com is a personal website. It is not a business, storefront, or retail operation. I am a developer by trade. This is a spare domain I have owned since 2008 that I currently use for this purpose. Contact me if you want a link to the internet marketing agency I have ran for 24 years that can build you one too.

This site operates as a private sales page for personally owned items that may include automotive and motorcycle parts, tools, gear, electronics, home goods, collectibles, and whatever else I want to sell online. Each item listed is personally owned and being sold as a one-off personal sale.

Purpose of This Site

This site exists to:

Centralize photos, descriptions, and availability of personal items
Prevent duplicate or conflicting information.
Provide first-come, first-served availability
Eliminate private-message sales errors (payment, address, miscommunication)
Avoid percentage-based fees and listing “tolls” charged by third-party marketplaces
Reduce buyer costs & CC processing feels while maintaining standard buyer / seller payment protections
Save everyone time with DMs and keep me from having to manage ads on multiple groups & platforms

Frequently Misunderstood Concepts

Credit card processing is not limited to businesses.
Having a website does not require operating a business.
Selling personal property does not convert an individual into a merchant.
Payment processors are used by private individuals every day.
Using software to manage sales does not imply commercial activity.
Online tools do not determine legal or commercial status.

Nature of Sales

All items are personally owned and not sourced or acquired for resale
There is no inventory replenishment, bulk purchasing, or commercial supply chain
Each item is sold individually and removed once sold
Sales are occasional, incidental, and non-commercial

Payments & Payment Processing

Online Payments are processed through established third-party payment processors (such as Stripe). D13X.com does not store, transmit, or have access to credit card numbers or payment credentials.

Cash on pickup is available. Msg me in advance to coordinate this. I will either give you a home address or meet you in a dark parking lot – whatever you prefer.

By completing a purchase, buyers acknowledge that they are purchasing from a private individual, not a business. Payment processing, fraud prevention, dispute handling, and buyer protections are governed by the policies of the payment processor used at checkout.

This section also serves as a basic disclosure and terms reference required by credit card payment processors.

Refunds, Returns, and Disputes

All items are sold as described and as-is unless explicitly stated otherwise
Refunds or returns are not offered once an item has shipped, confirm your application before buying. Ask me if you have questions … I am not a tech support dept so pls respect my time, but will try to help prospective buyers any way I can.
Any payment disputes, chargebacks, or fraud claims are handled according to the payment processor’s policies.
If you have concerns with buying online … drive to Reno, NV and pay cash on pickup.

Shipping

Items ship only after confirmed payment
Shipping information is provided by the buyer at checkout. Correct shipping addresses are the buyers responsibility.
No fulfillment services, warehouses, or third-party logistics providers are used

No Business Representation

Nothing on this site constitutes:

A retail, resale, or e-commerce business
Advertising, solicitation, or commercial promotion
A dealer, vendor, merchant, or marketplace operation
