Hughes Performance torque converter for TH350 / TH400 input shaft.
Anti-ballooning plates, fully welded, spec’d for forced induction / procharged engine w/ mid plate @ +0.090″ on the mounting pads
10″ / 4500 RPM stall speed (depending on output)
Hughes sold me this converter for a 1600 hp application. Above 800 whp slippage was excessive but converter always ran good ETs. Never overheated, drove fine up to removal. Selling for < 1/2 new.
